This is a good 5 stars hotels with an excellent location. SD 06.09
lobby
The lobby is of a medium to large size, well-lit and modern in decoration. Three large lifts are available. The reception leads to the famous press bar where international journalists congregated during the civil war, and Benihana Japanese restaurant.
exterior
The exterior is extremely modern and attractive in design.
restaurant
The hotel has 2 restaurants; a famous and extremely popular Japanese restaurant, an a la carte fine dining restaurant called La Brasserie. Snacks are also available in the lobby bar as well as 24 hour room service.
rooms
The rooms are large, modern and superbly equipped. Bathroom are also large and clean, having both bath and shower. Rooms are in good condition.
location
Le Commodore is superbly located in the Hamra district of Beirut, near designer shopping malls and only 15 minutes transfer from the airport. This is a lively area and only a short drive from downtown, the business district and the beach.
