This is a very budget hotel with an excellent location but which may not be suitable for the more discerning traveler as it is very basic. JG 11/08
lobby
The lobby is quite large with ample seating and also incorporates the bar. The main entrance states the Hotel Acca as it is necessary for all guests staying at the Van Gogh to use the entrance of the Acca hotel to check in and to check out.

This is a traditional hotel.
restaurant
The breakfast room may be found in the sister hotel, the Acca. There is direct access to this hotel from inside the Van Gogh as the reception and breakfast room for the Van Gogh is the same as the Acca hotel.
rooms
The bedrooms are all very basic indeed and are all decorated differently and in general are in fair condition.
location
This hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, close by the Van Gogh and Rijks Museum, as well as the fashionable shopping street of PC Hoofsstraat. It is also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions that this city has to offer, including the Leidseplein with its Holland Casino, Bulldog and numerous eateries and bars.
