Perfectly situated on a quiet street in the heart of Amsterdam, the hotel is within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, museums and visitor attractions. The commercial district, RAI and Amstel Business Park are also nearby.

The bedrooms are of a good standard, decorated in modern style with traditional touches including rocking chairs. All the modern bathrooms are also in good condition, and have shower only.
exterior
It used to be the premises of the weavers guild, hence its historic appearance, and in the 60's was converted into a hotel.
lobby
The entrance is via a cobbled courtyard and the small lobby is in traditional style with old beams and alcoves.

Refurbished in April 2008, the charming Hotel Mercure Amsterdam Arthur Frommer is entirely non-smoking. The hotel has over 93 tastefully designed rooms and bathrooms, a bar, a breakfast room and a limited number of private parking spaces available for a fee.
