This is a great property that is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but close enough to be within very easy access either by tram or, for those avid walkers, by foot. With new owners as of 2013, this hotel has benefitted from a lot of love and care with improvements in every part of the hotel.
lobby
The lobby is medium in size and incorporates a small Italian eaterie. This in turn leads off to the bar and main restaurant
exterior
This is a modern purpose built hotel with a lovely front courtyard where seating is available, and a large car park
restaurant
Their is a small Italian eaterie in the hotel lobby but the main breakfast room is located behind the reception and also incorporates the popular hotel bar.
rooms
The standard rooms offer basic accommodation but are all being upgraded to offer more up do date 3 star accommodation, with new and brighter furntiure and fittings and LCD televisions etc. The bathrooms are in good condition and offer shower only
location
This hotel is located in a residential area just off the beaten track and a short tram ride from the city centre. If you would like to take a stroll through the Vondel Park, you can get to the Leidseplein by foot in about 45 minutes or take a walk down the Overtoom with its bars, shops and restaurants and be at the Leidseplein also within 45 minutes. It is less than 20 minutes drive from Amsterdam Schiphol airport and if you take a car, you can even be at the beach within 30 minutes, and Brussels within 2 hours
