locationThis hotel is located in the old part of Amsterdam overlooking one of the cities most charming canals and is just a short walk from the Central Station, Dam Square and the Red Light district, as well as the main shopping street called the Kalverstraat. It is a former 16th century Royal Inn and was the setting for the wedding of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.

lobbyThe lobby is of medium size and has also undergone a total renovation which is still a work in progress. It is now a very impressive space with the reception desk featuring a light consisting of hunderds of butterflies. The lobby will also consist of the bar but this is under renovation.
exteriorThe hotel has retained its historical features and has one of the most impressive entrances in Amsterdam, with a welcoming courtyard offering peace and tranquility in the heart of the city centre.
restaurantThe restaurant is located on the ground floor and serves a wonderful, local menu with French influence. Both the service and food is of a very high standard which is why the restaurant is popular with both locals and hotel guests. Breakfast is also served in the restaurant, which will also benefit from total refurbishment in 2009.
roomsLuxury rooms offer high end luxury with oversized beds, flat screen televisions, bose sound systems and a small writing desk. They are larger than the superior rooms but both offer the same high class accommodation. The bathrooms are very luxurious with marble flooring and surrounds, plenty of glass and huge walk in rain showers
