Following its renovations, and with its excellent attention to detail, service,its first class restaurant and prime location, this is without doubt one of the top 3 hotels in Amsterdam and comes highly recommended
lobby
The lobby was recently completely renovated, along with the rest of the hotel, and offers a more contemporary feel with a grand reception area and feature lighting, a cosy and intimate bar/lounge area and doors leading to its oasis of a garden where guests can have lunch, dinner or a drink
exterior
The hotel has retained its historical features and has one of the most impressive entrances in Amsterdam with a welcoming courtyard offering peace and tranquility, in the heart of the city centre.
restaurant
Bridges restaurant has become one of the best known restaurants in Amsterdam since its opening in 2010. It specialises in fish but offers first class meat and fish dishes and has appeared in numerous magazines and tv shows including "Top Chef". It also has a beautiful summer terrace and a raw fish bar. A sumptuous breakfast is also served in this elegant and modern room overlooking the garden and also the street and canal.

This hotel is located in the old part of Amsterdam overlooking one of the cities most charming canals and is just a short walk from the Central Station, Dam Square and the Red Light district, as well as the main shopping street called the Kalverstraat. It is a former 16th century Royal Inn and was the setting for the wedding of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.
