The Conservatorium hotel is the newest, 5 star deluxe hotel to open its doors in Amsterdam and it is truly magnificent. Located in a former musical institute, originally called the Sweelinck Conservatorium, it has a perfect location, opposite the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum and Stedelijk museum, and also around the corner of the fashionable PC Hooftstraat. It offers contemporary design, a popular bar with smoking room, two high class restaurants, overseen by the renowned Dutch chef, Schilo and a top of the range spa catering to the demands of the most discerning traveller.
lobby
The lobby is very large and incorporates the hotel reception, brasserie and lounge area. With incredibly high ceilings, this is an amazing space, also incorporating the original walls of the building and with large floor to ceiling windows, it is also very airy with a buzzy atmosphere.
rooms
These rooms are very modern and comfortable, offering all of the facilities one would expect of a 5 star super deluxe hotel including flatscreen LCD mirror televisions, complimentary high speed wifi, writing desk and chair and free access to the hotels Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre. The bathrooms are also in excellent condition, as are the beautiful bedrooms, with marble floors and walls and luxurious rainfall showers filled with deluxe amenities as well as a bathroom LCD mirror television. The average size of a standard room is approx 30 m2.

This is an iconic and traditional building that once housed Amsterdam's premier music conservatorium.

The hotel caters to every taste through a Signature restaurant, Destination Bar, Brasserie and an open-plan Lounge with plush oversized seating.
