The location of this hotel cannot be faulted, and it is certainly one of the best properties in the area.
lobby
The lobby and reception area is medium-sized, and as with most of the hotel, an open and light feel is created by the use of large angled windows.
exterior
It is an attractive white building, well in keeping with the architecture of this hanseatic town. It is a modern hotel with high quality decor throughout.
restaurant
The restaurant is decorated in pastel colours and wherever possible tries to accentuate the building's proximity to the sea.
rooms
The rooms are medium sized and are in very good condition. They are tastefully furnished and offer loverly views over the water. Paterned soft furnishings are combined with blue furniture and pine tables to create a very elegant look. The bathrooms are in very good condition.
location
The scandic is situated on the waterfront in the heart of the beautiful old city of Alesund.
