lobbyGothic walls, plateresque tomb and baroque facade are inserted into an interior with soft, orange-coloured shades, adorned with Spanish wood furniture and beams.As in the rest of the building, the lobby features gothic wall-paintings.
exteriorBuilt on the top of the hill this 12th-13th century castle-convent became the seat of the Order of Calatrava in 1179. Dominating the landscape of the Maestrazgo, it conserves the keep, the bell tower-sacristy and the part reconverted into an 18th Aragonese palace.
restaurantThe dining room offers dishes that are typical of the region, such as roast young lamb "ternasco asado", and typical sweets: Alma pancakes and almond cakes.
